Letter from the Administrator

Happy October, Hurst Plaza Residents, Staff and Families!

This is the start of my favorite time of the year. Football is in full swing, it’s not a thousand degrees outside and the Christmas season is right around the corner.

As the season changes, things also change at Hurst Plaza.

We are in the thick of our new COVID-19 testing protocols that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services put in place last month, and hopefully, that will be a step towards exciting news as it pertains to visitation down the line.

Here’s a special shoutout to ADON Michelle Gleason, MDS Coordinator Linda Andreas and Infection Preventionist Agnes Ricks for heading up our testing efforts!

I want to again thank everyone for their patience during this ordeal that has lasted what appears to be a lifetime.

While I cannot promise what will or will not be allowed in the weeks and months ahead, I can promise that I will pass along any information as soon as I can and be there to answer any questions.

I hope you all have a Happy Halloween!

Sincerely,

David Collier, LNFA
